TIHIF; Take One

This is how I feel....

This is how I feel after every Pearl of Great Price institute class:

This is how I feel when the internet isn't working in my dorm for days on end and it takes 3 hours to do something that should have taken an half an hour:

This is how I feel when I do an in-class problem in Accounting and think I have the correct answers, then he writes something COMPLETELY different on the board:

This is how I feel when everyone goes home for a long weekend:

This is how I feel when I get a 100% on my Corporate Finance exam:

This is how my roommates feel when I'm in a scaring mood (especially Andrea):

This is how I feel when someone tries to guilt trip/manipulate me:

This is how I feel going into any exams that directly relate to my major:

The Secret Life of the YSA Church Member

I don't know what it is about Sophomore year, but everyone is just crazy busy. Balancing school, work, church, social, and relaxation is definitely a circus act. But it's good.

On to the pictures!

First of all, when the BYU vs USU football game was fast approaching, my accounting professor bet us that if we won, he would buy us all Chick-Fil-A for breakfast (keep in mind this is a 7:30am class). And we all became ridiculously excited.
...and then our quarterback received an out-of-football-for-the-rest-of-the-season injury in the first quarter. Long story short, we lost.
Therefore I was expecting no food from my teacher when LO AND BEHOLD Tuesday morning, bright and early, my teacher is there with DOUGHNUTS.

Isn't accounting great?

Actually, speaking of accounting, I am enjoying this segment much more than the first. It's still difficult, don't get me wrong, but I don't feel 100% out of my depth (more like 83%).

In other news, I should not own paint.
When I get bored and am procrastinating homework, things happen.
Our games box, for example, has been sitting as a boring old cardboard box on our window ledge for over a month and I was sick of it. So I sat my posterior down and did THIS:

Yeah, I'm artsy and a little bit insane.

I also joined the swing club! Crazy, eh? But it's fun. I don't go every week, or every day it happens, but when I do go I enjoy myself. Maybe I'll go full country and take a class :O

And may I say that I love the girls in my ward? They are so dang cool. And they make me better. Shout out to them!

Also, my family loves me #likewoah.

Arizona 2014 planner, Avatar: the Last Airbender seasons 2 and 3, a super huge and adorable mug, a TEAPOT, squirrel and maple leaf cookie cutters, chocolate covered coconut bites, Lindor Truffles (by the dozen!), enough oatmeal to feed me for a week, and lots and lots of hot cider and cocoa!

Yeah, it definitely made my whole week.

And that's my life!
OH! I also got a 100, 99, and 92% on my last three exams!!!

Dear Boys; Take Three

Is it bad that all I want to do is write Dear Boys? Because at the beginning of this year I didn't really have anyone I wanted to write these to. But now I have so many. Ain't nobody got time for boys. Too bad they are way too much fun. What would be really hilarious is if I actually got asked on a date, haha! I write all these and it seems like there are so many boys in my life, but there really isn't! It cracks me up.

ANYWAY....

Dear Scaredy Cat,
If you happen to read this, you know who you are.
I'm gonna find you...
Not on Halloween, because I promised.
But watch out.
If I can find a way to look through a second floor window
From outside...
I'll find it.
Watch out.
Scarily,
Kelene

Dear Elder,
You win on attractiveness.
Congratulations.
We should hang out more, you definitely have potential.
I'll definitely be seeing you.
Sincerely,
Kelene

Dear Hakuna Matata,
Hi there. You are pretty cool.
I don't really know anything about you,
but I'd be willing to learn.
You're still on the horizon
for now.
We'll see if you get mentioned here again.
Good luck,
Kelene

Dear President,
I am not ineligible to date.
Don't give me that.
You bum.
We should go on a date.
I'm not that intimidating.
Maybe.
With favoritism,
Kelene

Dear Standard,
You are so cool.
And so many girls I know have
MAJOR crushes on you
(that wasn't a pun, I promise)
I could set you up.
Fo reals.
Love,
Kelene

Dear Reeder Hall (not a code name),
You are so FREAKING awesome.
Likewoah.
We should hang out.
OH WAIT.
We do :)
I like it a lot.
I particularly enjoy scripture study.
I miss doing that with people.
Never change.
Love,
Kelene

Anyway. That's my life. It's pretty dang cool.

She LIVES!

Oh. Hi. You wanted to know how my life was going?
Me too.
It helps now that I have a new phone that I remember to take pictures and document my life and stuff. You know the drill.

First of all, Taylor, Amanda, and I went to Taste of Logan WAAAYYYY back at the beginning of the school year.

And this is Taylor with her majestic peach. It's my most favorite picture of her of all time.

And sometimes, at 10 at night, Taylor walks into the living room and states "Guys. We need to jump into First Dam right now." And then we all look around at each other and say, "Okay!" And we change into swimsuits and jump triumphantly into freezing water (just kidding, we screamed the whole time, haha!)

And work is fabulous, as always. I really love just about everyone I work with. And when we get too many rainy days in a row, some interesting things can happen in the back room! (In other Cold Stone news, I have become addicted to a Pumpkin Spice shake. Delicious.)

And I am so ready for Halloween. It makes me so melancholy to think I won't be able to wear my most terrifying costume yet at the Fisher's haunted house in Arizona. I have included a preview for you here:

Here is me, Amanda, and Andrea leaving the fall bridal fair. Not that any of us are remotely close to getting married, but you get free food. And it's fun :)

And basically my ward is so ridiculously amazing. The first picture is from FHE, playing Swedish Twister. The second is two people from Reeder wearing weird kangaroo-stilts-shoes things. It was an amusing night. People are so cool!

And may I take a moment to give a shout out to how gorgeous Utah skies are? One of my favorite things is when the clouds brush the mountains.

And here is my lovely presidency (from left to right): Kenya, Kelene, Megan, Stephanie. They are basically amazing. And in every way so cool. Too cool for me! I love my Relief Society so much. And they are always there for me. The gospel is amazing!

Welcome to my life. It is crazy and hectic and dramatic and lazy and incredibly busy, but it is mine.
And I adore it.
This is me just hoping I can live up to everything I want to.
Wish me luck!
;)
