The Apron and Summer Heralds

This is my first project of summer. I've had the idea in m head for a while and once I found these awesome pictures I knew I had to do it. I ran with Mom to Walmart and grabbed all of the necessary supplies. the apron was given to me from Grandma Fletcher for Christmas.

SUPER AWESOME.
I started with a plain white Apron, knee length (which is very nice). I did sketch this all out before I began, but the pictures are rather boring.

Let's jump right in with the painting! Superman and Batman made the first appearance.

Then Iron Man and Wolverine jumped into the game.

Thor and Captain America got their outlines and the bottom three were finished.

Superman gets his hair and Thor his hammer. At this point Superman was finished.

Here I finished Captain America. I kept putting off Thor's ear wing-things.

Buuuttt he eventually got them, as well as his helmet decor.

Mod Podge it all for good luck!

Close-ups: Iron Man (I think he turned out the best).

Batman

Wolverine

Captain America

Superman!

Thor

And here I am with my still-drying apron!

I am SUPER COOK!

You like? Which is your favorite square?

I think I will do a Doctor Who hat next. I can paint ANYTHING.

PAINT ALL THE THINGS!!

:)
Over and out.

Vincent Vans Gogh

The past week it has just been Dad and I and I have been having way too much fun cooking. I made scones for the first time, Jalapeno Cheddar! They tuned out crumbly and a tad dry, but they are a British thing, I suppose; made to eaten with tea. They were rather yummy though, but too much work for me. Recipe Here

I also made homemade pizza with a sourdough-like bread. One was cheese, tomato slices, olives and garlic. The next, sauce, cheese, olives. The last, sauce, cheese, sausage. DELICIOUS.

And finally, I painted some shoes! Starry Night, by Vincent Van Gogh to Starry Night on Vans, by Kelene Fletcher

I call them my "Vans" Gogh. *Du dun tch!*
